Ustaz Hassan Shibly is a Syrian-American civil rights attorney, educator, and community leader based in Tampa, Florida. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from SUNY Buffalo with a degree in Political Science and International Relations and later graduated near the top of his class from the University at Buffalo Law School. He began practicing law in 2011 and served for approximately a decade as Executive Director of CAIR-Florida, one of the largest Muslim civil rights organizations in the United States. He also taught at the Kuftaro Institution in Damascus, Syria, and founded Madania Publications. He is the founder of Muslim Legal, a law firm focused on faith-based legal solutions for American Muslims.
